Starting a Blog Step Two – What to Look for in a Web Host
In the first post in this series on starting a blog, you found out how to get and register a name for your blog. Now, you need to set up your website on the web somewhere so others can find it.
If you use WordPress (which we recommend) for your blog, you could host a free site at WordPress.com. The advantage to doing this is that if you are unsure if you want to continue to blog, you have not spent money for a host, and the setup is usually very easy. Sounds good, right?

Photoshop Custom Christmas Card Tutorial in 30 Minutes
Wow! It’s hard to believe that Christmas is almost here – again! This Christmas card tutorial will help you get your custom card ready to go in no time.
Every year I make a new Christmas card to print and mail to friends and family. Sometimes I make several because it’s so hard to choose just one. You don’t have to stop once the cards are printed – sometimes, for me, that’s when the ‘real fun’ begins. I love to enhance some of them with glitter and other embellishments before I send them on their way. This is one place you can really let your imagination soar.
Today I’m bringing you a Christmas card tutorial that will walk you through putting together your own Christmas card in Photoshop, using elements you can download from our resources library. I am using Photoshop CC 2015, but most of the steps should work in older versions. Here is a picture of the completed card using the elements provided in the download:
